About The Chocolate Museum
The Chocolate Museum is an independent museum founded by Isabelle Alaya, a renowned French artisan chocolatier. Isabelle established her own brand, Melange Chocolate, in the UK in 2008. The museum's collection features a wide range of chocolate-related objects and memorabilia gathered over the years from various merchants and collectors.
Located in the vibrant area of Brixton, London, the museum opened its doors in March 2013 and served as a hub for chocolate enthusiasts and connoisseurs until February 2023. At The Chocolate Museum, we pride ourselves on offering ethically sourced and delicious chocolates. Our selection includes single origin chocolate bars as well as unique creations from Melange Chocolate, blending fruits, spices, and herbs.
In addition to our delectable treats, we also host dynamic workshops for both children and adults, cater to schools, and organize special occasions. We are committed to supporting cocoa farmers by using UTZ certified chocolate. While the physical museum is currently seeking new premises, we are excited to present our virtual exhibition soon.
