COAST Foundation | Diego Martin is a non-profit NGO incorporated in Trinidad & Tobago in 2017. Comprising a dedicated group of marine and subsea professionals, their mission is to explore, educate, and evolve the field of Caribbean Oceanography, Aquaculture, and Subsea Technology. One of their main initiatives is establishing a marine research facility, which will serve as a foundation for a thriving Marine Aquaculture Industry in Trinidad & Tobago and the entire Caribbean.

This facility will include a Marine Species Hatchery and Nursery, enabling the production of high-quality Brood Stock that will be used to cultivate larvae and eventually grow-out operations. Additionally, COAST Foundation aims to establish a Subsea Training Facility, creating opportunities for training in remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations and other subsea careers. The facility will also support ongoing research and development in Subsea Technology.

Another important aspect of COAST Foundation's work is their Scrap for Change program, which offers an environmentally friendly solution for companies to dispose of industrial waste and surplus project materials while supporting a good cause. With plans to procure an exploration vessel for the southern Caribbean region, COAST Foundation is committed to collaborating with other similar NGOs to further their programs and initiatives.
