About The Coffee Gardens
Welcome to The Coffee Gardens! Established in 2017, our brand is dedicated to producing traceable specialty coffee while prioritizing the well-being of smallholder farmers and the environment. Our story began when Dana, Micheal, and Shak, inspired by their passion for organic agriculture and coffee quality, moved to Uganda. Dana, having identified the limited availability of specialty coffee from Uganda on the international market, saw an opportunity to work directly with coffee farmers and make a positive impact.
Recognizing the challenges faced by farmers, we embarked on a small pilot project. Collaborating with one farmer family, we provided support in improving coffee processing practices, training, access to fair loans, and above-market prices. The success of this initiative led to the establishment of The Coffee Gardens.
We take pride in offering an exceptional range of specialty micro and nano lots, featuring coffees like Bukyabo Runner Coffee and Bukyabo Peaberry Coffee. Additionally, our brand is committed to social and environmental projects, as evident in our Impact & Transparency Report.
