The Cole Family History

The Cole Family History is an independently maintained genealogy website documenting Cole family lines, particularly in Devon and Cornwall, England. Its compiler has researched the family for more than 46 years and shares historical material gathered from parish, land, probate and published records. The site is a resource for family historians tracing Cole ancestors and related families, with information focused largely on people who lived before the 19th century.

Visitors can explore Cole pedigrees, family connections, historical visitations, selected wills and transcripts, and church and other records. Parish materials include details transcribed from registers of births or baptisms, marriages, marriage licences and burials or deaths; new records are added as research progresses. The collection includes records for Ashreigney, Devon, and covers many parishes across Devon and Cornwall. The site also provides a forum for enquiries about Cole families from those counties, along with navigation links and supporting historical extracts. The compiler notes that pedigrees may contain errors or omissions and recommends checking details with local record offices.
