The Colonel’s Club is a fine-dining restaurant, lounge, and piano bar on Perkins Road in Baton Rouge’s Perkins Overpass District, minutes from LSU and downtown. Originally built in 1936 by entrepreneur and pilot Colonel J. L.
Sheppard, the venue draws inspiration from his travels, bringing together globally inspired dishes, treasured keepsakes, and a distinctive atmosphere. Chef Chris Motto leads the kitchen, serving dinner Tuesday through Saturday and lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a. m.
to 4 p. m., including $19. 36 lunch entrees.
Sunday brunch runs from 11 a. m. to 4 p.
m. and features brunch plates, Bloody Marys, mimosas, and live piano. The lounge offers live piano five nights a week, classic and signature cocktails, wine, and whiskey.
Guests can reserve a table, enjoy walk-in dining, or host private gatherings, including rehearsal dinners, corporate events, birthdays, showers, and holiday celebrations. The Colonel’s Club also provides drop-off, pick-up, and full-service catering on-site and across the Baton Rouge area
