The Cookie Writer is a food and recipe blog created by Kacey, who has developed hundreds of recipes over the past decade. A vegetarian for nearly 15 years, Kacey now focuses the site on recipes suited to gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan lifestyles, while keeping older recipes available for longtime readers. The collection spans everyday cooking and baking, with recipes for appetizers, drinks, desserts, main courses, sauces, breakfast, and side dishes.

Visitors can find ideas such as vegetarian pot pie, homemade pizza, soups, salads, breads, cookies, and other treats, alongside selected meat and seafood recipes from the blog’s earlier collection. The site also offers recipe indexes, search tools, popular and recently updated recipes, and guidance such as a tutorial on making lentil flour. Beyond recipes, The Cookie Writer shares information about Kacey and her story, as well as occasional personal content, including a stairway remodeling series.

It is a resource for home cooks looking for a broad range of approachable recipes and food inspiration
