**Brand Description: Songa Community Foundation (SCF)**

The Songa Community Foundation (SCF) is a transformative initiative founded by Lawrence Songa Biyika, the Member of Parliament for Ora County in Zombo district, aimed at promoting financial inclusion and empowerment among women. With a robust commitment of Shs 400 million, SCF supports over 1,200 Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs) in the region. This funding bolsters small-scale enterprises, enabling women to secure both the necessary capital and the financial literacy required to sustainably manage their businesses.

In addition to financial support, SCF provides vital entrepreneurial training to enrich the skills of its beneficiaries. The foundation’s initiatives align with broader government programs such as Emyooga and the Parish Development Model (PDM), addressing household poverty and employment creation. Women from diverse parishes, including Ndara, Kango, and Ugusi, have already reported significant improvements in their farming and business ventures thanks to SCF's contributions. SCF's dedication not only enhances individual livelihoods but also strengthens community resilience and collaboration.
