About CowgirlMuseum
The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame celebrates the women whose courage, skill, and leadership have shaped the American West and continue to influence the world. Located in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, the museum preserves and shares their stories through exhibitions, historical collections, and educational programs. Its Hall of Fame recognizes artists, ranchers, rodeo champions, activists, and other trailblazers, while exhibitions explore Western history and traditions, including the ongoing SOLDADERAS TO AMAZONAS: Escaramuzas Charras.
Visitors can explore objects, photographs, archives, and library materials documenting remarkable women, as well as take part in events, tours, and learning experiences for all ages. Educational offerings include field trips, outreach programs, traveling trunks, a learning library, and a podcast. The museum also presents public programs and signature gatherings, including its annual Hall of Fame induction luncheon and ceremony. Beyond its visitor and educational services, the organization invites support through memberships, donations, volunteering, and corporate partnerships. Through preservation, storytelling, and engagement, the Cowgirl honors women’s lasting contributions and inspires future generations.
