TheCrafterSpace

The Crafter Space is a Wisconsin-based craft brewing and entrepreneurship initiative focused on creating a brewery and incubator for emerging beer brands. Its plans include a 15-barrel brewery and taproom where visitors can enjoy Crafter Space beers alongside selections brewed by partner brewers. The concept is designed as a gathering place for multiple breweries, with distinctive tap spaces that partners can personalize using converted shipping containers, Airstreams, or buses. Partner brewers would contract brew through The Crafter Space, gaining access to brewing capacity and a route to taproom sales.

A central part of the initiative is the Barley to Barrel Program, a 10-week incubator launched in 2016 to help aspiring brewers learn the business of brewing. Participants study recipe design, marketing, trademarks, sales, distribution, and fundraising, while also brewing a commercial product and visiting a brewhouse manufacturer. The program has hosted 42 aspiring brewers and produced beer in seven varieties.
