About The Cropper Foundation
The Cropper Foundation is a brand dedicated to responsible development and sustainable practices in small island developing states, particularly in the Caribbean region. Since 2000, the foundation has been collaborating with individuals and organizations to influence development policy and practice, addressing issues such as socio-economic development, equity, environmental concerns, disaster risk reduction, and climate change adaptation. The foundation focuses on applying research and analysis to provide evidence for informed decision-making and action.
They advocate for removing barriers and fostering dialogue and partnerships among various stakeholders, including government agencies, public and private sectors, and civil society. By promoting coordination, cooperation, and collaboration, The Cropper Foundation aims to unlock the potential of small island developing states. Their work spans across multiple themes, including natural capital, data for development, education for sustainable development, civil society leadership, and sustainability financing.
With an amazing team of experts, including their Chief Executive Officer Omar Mohammed, Project Coordinator Caterina Affonso, Project Officer Alyssa Black, and Administrative Officer Abbeygail De Sousa, The Cropper Foundation is actively making a difference in the Caribbean region and beyond
