DOGPAPA provides one-to-one, in-home dog training across Singapore, led by Shawn, a former narcotic detector dog handler with the Singapore Police K-9 Unit. Its approach is grounded in relationship-based training that emphasizes respect, clear communication and praise rather than food treats. The goal is to help owners understand and guide their dogs, building skills that last beyond the sessions.

Training takes place in the dog’s everyday environment, such as the home, corridor and lift, where good behaviour matters most. DOGPAPA offers a single in-home consultation for a specific concern, a four-session Baby Puppy Class for dogs under 12 months, and a four-session Adult Class for dogs aged 12 months and older. The programmes address foundations, behaviour challenges and practical skills, with owners learning to continue the training themselves. A one-on-one Before You Own consultation is also available for people considering getting a dog, covering readiness and breed matching.
