The Dorfman Chapel is a family-owned funeral home serving the Jewish community of southeastern Michigan. Located in Farmington Hills, its state-of-the-art facility is situated near the center of the local Jewish community, with convenient access to cemeteries. The chapel is led by licensed funeral directors Alan Dorfman and Jonathan Dorfman, whose expertise and commitment guide families through the arrangements and decisions that follow a loss. Jonathan Dorfman is also a clinical psychologist specializing in grief therapy.

The chapel provides funeral services shaped by Jewish tradition, honoring the deceased while responding to each family’s needs and wishes with dignity, sanctity, and compassion. Its website offers funeral notices and listings, notification services, and information about pre-arrangement and community services. Families can also explore Jewish traditions, a checklist for what to do after a death, and grief resources. Visitors may learn about the facility through a chapel tour and find practical details for contacting or visiting the team.
