The Doula Fairy

The Doula Fairy is a doula and family-support service based in Torrance, California, led by Junko. Its approach centers on nurturing confidence and helping families feel informed, supported, and empowered through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Support is non-medical and non-judgmental, with an emphasis on practical guidance and evidence-based education.

Services include labor and birth doula support, which provides emotional and physical assistance throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth, helping families consider their options and communicate their preferences. Postpartum doula care supports families during the first 12 weeks after birth, offering companionship, practical help, and guidance on newborn care, feeding, development, and parent-infant bonding. The Doula Fairy also offers lactation support and postnatal body care, as well as private educational classes and a Dancing For Birth class. Postpartum meals are listed among its offerings.

The service is designed to complement—not replace—clinical care, helping families navigate the transition to parenthood with compassionate, hands-on support. Prospective clients can book a free initial consultation and check availability through the website.
