The Eastern Charm

The Eastern Charm is a United Arab Emirates maison and atelier creating one-of-a-kind objects, each made once and never repeated. Its collections include tavla boards, boxes, desk objects, small caskets, screens, panels, and architectural works. Materials and techniques highlighted include hand-cut mother-of-pearl, figured walnut, aged brass, and carefully fitted inlay. The house describes a hands-on process spanning sourcing, cutting, inlay, finishing, inspection, and certification, with each work recorded in a permanent archive alongside details such as its materials, dimensions, making hours, and maker.

Works are offered to private clients, while corporate gifts are selected from existing vault stock rather than produced in volume. Diplomatic and VVIP enquiries are handled confidentially through a dedicated contact. The maison also considers commissions for individuals and trade, hospitality, or design professionals. Many works are presented through private viewings, with a specialist travelling to clients at residences or offices in the UAE; there is no showroom. The Eastern Charm also offers gifting support, trade services, and occasional letters from the atelier.
