The Exchange NC

The Exchange is a historic event venue in downtown Asheboro, North Carolina, offering a welcoming setting for weddings, celebrations, and special events. Housed in a building that once served as one of Asheboro’s first U.S. post offices, the venue opened in 2002. Its 3,400 square feet feature restored hardwood floors, vintage brick walls, skylights, and an outdoor courtyard beside Bicentennial Park. The space accommodates up to 180 guests and is handicap accessible.

The Exchange hosts weddings, birthdays, quinceañeras, proms, school events, banquets, and corporate gatherings. Each event can have a custom floor plan, with an event planning specialist available to help arrange the space, suggest vendors, and offer guidance. Rentals include tables, white chairs, linens, a mobile bar, Wi-Fi, and access to a staging kitchen for preparation and serving. A smart TV supports presentations and displays, while the courtyard offers an outdoor setting for ceremonies, photography, and intimate gatherings. The venue offers rental periods from four to sixteen hours, with rates varying by day of the week, and allows outside catering.
