About The Face They See
The Face They See is a photo-rating service designed to help people choose their strongest pictures for dating apps. Users upload three photos, which are ranked from best to worst by five real people of the opposite gender. By presenting the pictures together, the service lets reviewers compare them as they might when viewing a dating profile, rather than judging each image on its own.
Results are emailed when all five rankings are complete, with a simple first-, second-, and third-place order and a shareable results card. Users can optionally select the age range and ethnicity of the people who review their photos. The service is available through a website, with no app download required, and uploads are free.
Users can move up the queue by ranking other people’s photo sets; optional paid credits are available to skip the wait. The Face They See says photos are shown only to reviewers while they rank them, locations are not displayed, and users can pause or remove their photos at any time
