Deirdre Gilna is the creator and owner of The Fiery Vegetarian, a blog focused on mainly vegan and somewhat vegetarian recipes with a spicy twist. Her love for food and cooking stems from her experiences growing up in Ireland and living in various countries, including Spain, India, and now Angola. The blog features a variety of recipes, including main dishes, appetizers, desserts, and side dishes, with a strong emphasis on spicy flavors.

Deirdre's recipes cater to both beginners and seasoned cooks, with a mix of easy and entertaining recipes. Due to her son's allergies, many of the recipes are vegan, and Deirdre also offers useful emails with new recipes and a free mini cookbook. Her blog has been featured on several well-known websites, including CNET, The Guardian, and Buzzfeed, showcasing the popularity of her delicious and spicy creations.
