About The Flood Hub
The Flood Hub is a comprehensive resource designed to help individuals, businesses, and communities across the North West effectively manage flood and coastal risks. This one-stop hub offers an abundance of flood information and resources to promote flood resilience in the region. By curating multiple sources of guidance, The Flood Hub provides a comprehensive overview of flood resilience and related topics.
It conveniently signposts useful sources and provides access to downloadable resources, including those collaboratively produced by the flood team at Newground and sourced from external sites. Additionally, the Your Local Area page features an interactive map that highlights regional flood risk management information, community groups, flood schemes, natural flood management schemes, and events. The Flood Hub is a joint initiative developed by Newground in collaboration with the Environment Agency, United Utilities, and the Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Cheshire Strategic Flood Partnerships
