The Floppy Disk

The Floppy Disk is an engaging online wiki platform dedicated to the documentation of vintage computer games, showcasing the diverse boxes and contents associated with them, such as disks, manuals, and various iterations of releases. Initially created as a way to display a personal collection of classic games, it has evolved into a collaborative space where enthusiasts can contribute valuable information and resources. The site highlights different formats, including floppy disk (3.5”/5.25”), CD-ROM, and localized versions, offering a comprehensive look into each title’s history.

This platform serves as an essential tool for collectors, enabling users to verify the completeness of their games by comparing images to a vast library of documented examples. However, it's important to note that The Floppy Disk does not provide downloadable games; its focus is solely on visual and factual representation of gaming history. Contributions are encouraged, provided they adhere to the site's guidelines regarding the use of images and content.
