– The Funeral Collective

The Funeral Collective is an independent, locally owned funeral home in Devonport, Tasmania, serving families across the North West and West Coast. Its experienced team offers compassionate, practical guidance around the clock, helping people arrange farewells that reflect their wishes and the life being remembered. Rather than relying on set formats, the team tailors each service, from a private gathering for close family to a full traditional funeral.

Services include funeral planning, cremation and water cremation, pre-planned and prepaid funerals, and support with coffins and caskets, urns, plaques, and memorial jewellery. Families can choose an appropriate setting beyond a chapel, including a garden, beach, home, or community venue. The Funeral Collective also offers greener choices, such as natural materials, and emphasizes clear, upfront pricing without upselling or hidden costs.

For those planning ahead, the team provides a free copy of Dying Done Differently, a guide created by Tracey Harding to help people shape a farewell around their own words, stories, and priorities
