THEFUTUREOFJEWELRY is a dynamic and innovative brand co-founded by entrepreneurial sisters Casey and Janine Melvin. Dubbed as the Warby Parker of Jewelry, they offer a comprehensive range of services as a digital jewelry design house and manufacturer. Their expertise lies in creating both the digital software infrastructure and physical supply chain for designing and producing custom jewelry pieces in various materials.
Established in early 2017, THEFUTUREOFJEWELRY was born out of the sisters' desire to make jewelry customization more accessible, affordable, and hassle-free for everyone. Taking leaves of absence from law school, they combined their passion for jewelry, design, and technology to create a streamlined user experience online. Inspired by a small family-owned jewelry shop they encountered during a trip to Mallorca, they wanted to empower others to design and customize their own jewelry.
