The Gardensmith is a garden design business based in Evesham, Worcestershire, serving clients across the South Midlands, Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. Founded 24 years ago by designer Cathryn Smith, the business creates outdoor spaces for clients to enjoy and recognises the role gardens can play in wellbeing and happiness. Cathryn trained in garden design and horticulture at Pershore Horticultural College, earning an HNC in Garden Design and the Royal Horticultural Society Advanced Certificate.
She also holds a Fine Art degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and brings an appreciation of outdoor living to her work. The Gardensmith offers garden design, plant sourcing and supply, consultations, and practical advice. Cathryn also gives garden design lectures and talks to gardening clubs.
