About The Gateway
The Gateway is the official student media outlet at the University of Alberta, established in 1910. Operated by the Gateway Student Journalism Society (GSJS), a student-run, autonomous, and not-for-profit organization, The Gateway publishes regular online content throughout the year. With a commitment to education advancement, they provide a reliable and clear source of information, focusing on issues that directly impact students, whether local, national, or international.
As a founding member of the Canadian University Press, The Gateway takes pride in delivering high-quality journalism. Their offices are conveniently located in the Students' Union Building on the University of Alberta campus.
