the Gender Talk

The Gender Talk is an initiative promoting gender equality and mental wellbeing through inclusive sexuality and relationships education. It presents Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) as relevant to everyday life, including healthy relationships, physical and mental health, gender and diversity, and understanding and exercising rights. The initiative highlights CSE’s role in preventing gender-based violence and helping people build knowledge and skills in communication, self-awareness, respect, and equality.

The Gender Talk offers six self-guided learning journeys for young people, covering relationships, gender, gender-based violence prevention, sexual health, culture and sexuality, and disability and sexuality. It also brings together civil society organisations, activists, professionals, and experts in local networks to exchange approaches and develop coordinated, multidisciplinary work suited to local contexts.

Its resources include a guide for educators, a map of European projects and organisations, a manifesto, and information about related projects. The platform invites young people and professionals to learn, support others, join networks, and contribute to advancing sexuality and relationships education.
