The Glacier

The Glacier is a privately owned collection of hotels, dining and holiday accommodation in Grindelwald, Switzerland, set beneath the Eiger. It brings together contemporary comfort, Swiss alpine character and Japanese-inspired touches across three stays: Boutique Hotel Glacier, Grindellodge and Grindelhomes. Guests can choose architect-designed hotel rooms, signature rooms with private hot tubs, Japanese- and alpine-inspired rooms and suites, or spacious holiday apartments for families and groups.

Dining is central to the experience at Glacier Restaurant, where seasonal Alpine cuisine is shaped by regional ingredients and local producers. The restaurant offers à-la-carte dishes and a Chef’s Choice menu, alongside an extensive wine collection featuring more than 700 labels and 223 wines by the glass. Wellness facilities include massages, saunas, a hammam, relaxation areas and an outdoor whirlpool at Boutique Hotel Glacier, as well as a private spa at Grindellodge.
