The Gobbins is a coastal visitor attraction on Islandmagee, Northern Ireland, offering guided walks along a dramatic cliff-face route above the sea. Conceived by 19th-century engineer Berkeley Deane Wise, the path reflects the ambition of the Edwardian era, when engineering, rail travel and tourism were brought together to create a distinctive experience.
