The Goode Life UK is a family-run, self-funded nonprofit based on the Yorkshire–Lancashire border. It provides a home for elderly and disabled animals from across the globe, operating as a small sanctuary with a mission to advocate for animals with additional needs. The organisation promotes the belief that these animals are just as deserving of care and consideration as their able-bodied counterparts.
It offers compassionate care across species, including rescue hens, cats and dogs. Supporters can help by donating or sponsoring an animal for a small monthly contribution; sponsors receive regular messages from the animal they choose. The Goode Life UK also invites people to become foster carers.
This support is especially important because the sanctuary has a waiting list of cats with additional needs hoping to come to the UK, and foster homes are needed before they can be accommodated. Through its sanctuary, care, advocacy and community support opportunities, the organisation works to improve life for animals needing extra care
