The Good Solicitor Guide is a UK-focused directory designed to help people find and compare solicitors. Users can search by location, firm name or type of legal service, making it easier to identify a lawyer suited to their needs. The guide covers a broad range of areas, including family and divorce, conveyancing, clinical negligence, employment, personal injury, immigration, criminal law, housing and planning, wills and probate, tax, money and debt, and commercial services.

The site also features client reviews to help visitors learn about other people’s experiences with law firms. Its review process invites feedback on factors such as communication, speed, legal knowledge, fee transparency, clarity of language and friendliness, with guidance intended to support fair and balanced reviews. Visitors can browse recent reviews or submit their own.

For legal professionals, The Good Solicitor Guide offers the option to join the directory, alongside solicitor login and signup services. It also provides information about the guide, its review policy, privacy and terms, as well as contact details and blog content.
