The Governor is a premium olive oil brand from Corfu, Greece, produced by the Dafnis family, who have been making olive oil on the island for more than 100 years. The family carefully tends the centenarian Lianolia olive variety, drawing on a long heritage of cultivation and production. Its range includes premium and limited-edition extra virgin olive oils, including an early-harvest edition described as fresh olive juice, made drop by drop with painstaking care.
The oils are presented for their fresh aroma and taste, rich texture, and high phenolic content and antioxidants. The brand also highlights scientifically proven quality and its awards and certifications. Beyond its products, The Governor invites visitors to explore olive oil through tours and tasting experiences at The Olive House in Corfu Town, a venue devoted to tasting high-phenolic extra virgin olive oil and discovering the area’s olive-growing heritage.
Through its oils and visitor experiences, The Governor connects careful production with the distinctive character of Corfu
