About The Great Journey
The Great Journey is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the growing games industry in Värmland. Our mission is to help you on your game dev-journey. As a community, we believe in the power of storytelling and the importance of collaboration.
That's why we bring together storytellers who use various tools to tell their tales. By sharing values, knowledge, and resources, we strengthen our progress and advance in our game development journey. We collaborate with Changemaker Education, Futuregames, and Kristinehamns folkhögskola to offer high-class game development educations.
Funding for our activities comes from the EU project Stories from Värmland and the Nordics, initiated by The Great Journey, Karlstad Innovation Park, and Embracer Group. This project is supported by Embracer Group, Karlstad Kommun, Region Värmland, and the European Regional Development Fund.
