About The Guards Museum
Welcome to The Guards Museum, where we invite you to explore the rich history of the Five Regiments of Foot Guards. For over 380 years, these elite soldiers have faithfully protected the Sovereign and Royal Palaces, from the English Civil War to present-day missions in Afghanistan. Immerse yourself in our unique collection, which tells the proud story of these world-class fighters.
Discover artifacts and exhibits that span their illustrious journey through time. Whether you're interested in their heroic actions in combat or their ceremonial duties, our museum offers a fascinating glimpse into their operational lives. Located in Wellington Barracks on Birdcage Walk in London, our museum is easily accessible.
We are open seven days a week, from 10:00 to 16:00, with the last admission at 15:30. Admission prices are affordable, with discounts for senior citizens, ex-military personnel, students, and serving military personnel. Children under 16 enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
