The Gurkha Re-Employment Pvt. Ltd., also known as Gorkha Manpower, is a Kathmandu-based recruitment agency supplying skilled and semi-skilled Nepali workers to employers abroad. Established in 1995, it is licensed by Nepal’s Department of Foreign Employment and reports placing more than 80,000 workers and serving over 300 companies worldwide. Its recruitment covers sectors including engineering, hospitality, construction, security, cargo, healthcare, rope access, retail, and manufacturing.

The agency helps employers manage recruitment from vacancy announcements and candidate screening through interviews, medical checks, visa processing, government approvals, and travel arrangements. It also coordinates required documentation and orientation for selected workers. The company says a typical recruitment process takes about four weeks, depending on document attestation, and screens candidates against employers’ requirements.

The Gurkha has worked with clients including Landmark Group, Palfinger, Sharaf DG, Ali Bin Ali, and Majid Al Futtaim Group. In addition to its Nepal government licence, it cites JITCO accreditation for Japan and membership in the Nepal Chamber of Commerce.
