The Happy Celebrant is the wedding celebrancy service of Simon Edds, based in Bondi Beach, Sydney, and serving couples across Australia. Since May 2016, Simon has been creating and performing authentic, relaxed and enjoyable wedding ceremonies for people who can legally marry, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Qualified to conduct non-religious ceremonies, he works with couples to create celebrations that feel personal and welcoming, without lengthy rituals or traditions that do not reflect their wishes.

The website provides information about the ceremony options available, the marriage process and required legal steps, helping couples understand what to expect. Simon invites prospective clients to arrange a complimentary meet-and-greet to discuss their plans and see whether they are a good fit. His approach is suited to couples seeking a chilled, genuine ceremony shaped around their preferences. The service is available across Australia, with Simon based in New South Wales. The site also features client testimonials and offers direct contact by phone or email.
