The Happy Firsts is a parent-support service founded by Daniela Otero, a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, Pediatric Sleep Consultant, and master’s graduate in early childhood education. Based in Miami, Florida, Daniela helps expectant and new parents navigate breastfeeding and infant sleep with evidence-based guidance and a supportive, understanding approach. Services are available in English and Spanish, with some follow-up consultations offered in person in select Miami neighborhoods or via Zoom.

Breastfeeding services include prenatal education, postnatal follow-up, individual consultations, and ongoing support. Topics may include latching, milk supply, pumping, returning to work, and common feeding concerns. Sleep services include newborn sleep guidance for babies aged 0–16 weeks, personalized sleep plans, and sleep-training packages with varying levels of follow-up. Parents can receive help with sleep environments, routines, schedules, soothing approaches, and age-appropriate expectations. The Happy Firsts also offers complimentary discovery calls to discuss a family’s needs and identify a suitable plan. Daniela draws on her professional training and personal experience as a mother to help families feel more informed and supported during early parenthood.
