The Harrogate Hatter is an award-winning millinery studio in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, where Kristi designs and handcrafts bespoke headwear for special occasions. Working closely with each client, Kristi offers guidance throughout the design process, helping them choose shapes, styles, fabrics and details that complement both their outfit and personal preferences. The aim is to make finding the perfect finishing touch an enjoyable, stress-free experience.

The collection includes custom hats, fascinators, hatinators, pillboxes, percher hats, headbands and bridal hairpieces. Designs can suit weddings, including headwear for the mother of the bride or groom, family christenings and race-day gatherings. For clients with existing pieces, the studio also offers retrims. Each creation is made to coordinate with the client’s outfit, with fabrics and trimmings hand-dyed and colour-matched. Traditional and modern millinery techniques are combined with careful attention to detail, creating distinctive pieces that range from understated and chic to bold statement designs.
