Seeds from Italy brings Italian gardening traditions to U.S. gardeners as the exclusive American distributor for Franchi Seeds, Italy’s oldest family-owned seed company, established in 1783. Its catalog includes more than 500 varieties of heirloom seeds, with vegetables, herbs, fruits, flowers, and garlic. The company highlights high germination rates, vigorous plants, generous seed packets, and flavorful harvests, and says its seeds are untreated and organic. Customers can also shop seedlings, gardening tools, and season-extension supplies.

Beyond gardening, Seeds from Italy offers gifts made by Italian artisans, including Tuscan linens, Florence-made soaps, knives from Maniago, and kitchen tools from Lombardy. Its website provides growing guides with instructions for starting, planting, and harvesting seeds, along with advice on cooking the varieties it sells. The company also publishes gardening information through its blog and offers a free seasonal catalog. Seeds from Italy serves home gardeners and supports retailers, farmers, and market growers, with online ordering and customer assistance from its Lawrence, Kansas, contact office.
