The Highwaymen Art Gallery

Highwaymen Art Gallery is a Florida art gallery in Fort Pierce dedicated to the paintings and legacy of the Florida Highwaymen, a group credited with helping establish the state’s contemporary art tradition and the “Indian River School” movement. The gallery offers visitors an opportunity to explore and buy Highwaymen art, with a collection highlighting the artists and their depictions of Florida waterscapes, marshes, and inlets. It also provides buying and selling services for Highwaymen paintings.

The gallery features the work and story of Kelvin Hair, a second-generation Highwaymen artist and son of Alfred Hair, one of the Original 26. Hair paints Florida-inspired scenes and has exhibited his work in galleries and at events around the United States. The website shares artist biographies, photographs, videos, interviews, and information about exhibitions and art shows. Visitors can contact the gallery team, including gallery manager Meditha Hair and artist Kelvin Hair, or sign up for updates about upcoming exhibitions, artist articles, and special events.
