About The Horse Hospital
The Horse Hospital is a progressive arts venue in London that has been providing a platform for underground and avant-garde media since 1993. It serves as a hub for various forms of art, film, fashion, literature, and music. As the only independent arts venue of its kind in the UK, The Horse Hospital is dedicated to offering broad access to the arts and promoting risk-taking, innovation, and experimentation.
This unique and artist-led environment attracts over 5000 visitors annually and has garnered international recognition through collaborations with prestigious organizations such as the BFI, the Hayward Gallery, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. With its vast archive of rare films and access to a wealth of underground artists, designers, musicians, and writers, The Horse Hospital has firmly established itself in both the London arts and fashion industries. The building itself holds historical significance, being one of the few remaining two-floor, purpose-built stables accessible to the public in London.
