The Journey Before Us

The Journey Before Us is a coaching and support practice founded by Laura Dusha Nelson, a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. It offers a welcoming space for people navigating life transitions, seeking changes in their well-being, living with grief, or considering what lies ahead. Services include integrative health and wellness coaching, grief support and education, end-of-life doula support, death literacy conversations, planning ahead and legacy exploration, and companion animal end-of-life support. The practice also hosts events and shares resources related to health, change, grief, planning, and life’s important conversations.

Laura’s approach centers on listening, curiosity, and helping each person discover what matters most, rather than prescribing a path. Support is available through virtual sessions anywhere and in-person conversations in Central Massachusetts. The Journey Before Us serves people who may be facing loss or uncertainty, helping a loved one, organizing future wishes, or simply wondering what comes next. A complimentary 30-minute Zoom conversation gives prospective clients a chance to meet Laura and consider whether working together feels right.
