Originally launched as an e-commerce platform, Kala Home expanded in June of 2022 with a bricks-and-mortar shop located on Prince Edward County's Picton Main Street. The brand's name, KALA, is a combination of the Sanskrit word for Skilled Craft and the Greek word for Good, reflecting their commitment to both craftsmanship and quality
