Kitepower is a pioneering start-up redefining the landscape of renewable energy through Airborne Wind Energy (AWE). Founded in 2016, Kitepower leverages patented technology that significantly reduces material usage—up to 90% less than traditional wind turbines—while delivering twice the efficiency for similar power output. Their flagship products, the Kitepower Falcon and the upcoming Hawk, are engineered to provide clean, affordable energy, especially to remote communities reliant on costly and polluting diesel fuel.

By harnessing stronger winds at higher altitudes, Kitepower’s systems achieve remarkable capacity factors, making energy generation more cost-effective and sustainable. With a mission to democratize renewable energy access globally, Kitepower aims to transition society away from fossil fuels to decentralized, self-sufficient energy sources. Led by a diverse international team of engineers and business developers, they are committed to advancing the innovative potential of AWE and contributing to a sustainable energy future. Join them in their quest to transform the global energy economy!
