The Lakes Church, located in Tuggerah, NSW, is a vibrant and inclusive community that aims to spread Jesus' love and share the teachings of God's Word. With a rich history dating back to 2002, the church was founded by David and Ruth Sheath, who gathered a core group of individuals to share their faith and extend Jesus' love to the people of the region. Over the years, The Lakes Church has developed strong partnerships with EV Church at Erina and other evangelical churches, leading to the formation of their denomination, the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC).

The church offers a range of services and programs to cater to various age groups and backgrounds. They have Sunday services at 8:30am, 10:30am, and 5pm, which can also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. Additionally, they have a Chinese church, seniors' groups, growth groups, and kids and youth programs.

The Lakes Church is committed to supporting their community through events, such as Good News Week, and they provide a variety of resources, including sermons, daily Bible reading courses, and English classes (ESL). Moreover, they have a purpose-built Ministry Centre in Tuggerah Business Park, where they hold their services and other gatherings throughout the week.
