About The Lamp
The Lamp is a bi-monthly Catholic journal that encompasses literature, science, the fine arts, and more. As a lay-edited magazine, we strive to provide readers with a unique perspective rooted in consistent, undiluted Catholic orthodoxy. Our publication follows in the footsteps of Saint John Henry Newman, embracing a diverse range of topics including classical, academical, political, critical, artistic, and theological subjects.
Just as great works are not accomplished by adhering to a rigid system, we believe that truth is best served through the expression of individual minds, even with their incidental faults. The Lamp is published by the Three Societies Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Three Rivers, Michigan, in collaboration with The Institute for Human Ecology at The Catholic University of America. Our contributors' views are their own and may not align with those of the Institute or the University.
We are always open to submissions that meet our guidelines, so please feel free to share your work with us. Join our community and become a subscriber to gain full access to our thought-provoking content
