Notting Hill Carnival is a major community-led celebration organised by Notting Hill Carnival Ltd, with a programme highlighting music, performance, food and Caribbean-inspired carnival traditions. The event brings together residents, families, performers and visitors for several days of activities, including parades, steel band competitions and live entertainment. Its 2027 programme lists the UK National Panorama Steel Band Competition on Saturday, 28 August, followed by Families and Children’s Day on Sunday, 29 August, and Adults Day on Monday, 30 August.

Sunday’s activities include J’ouvert, a children’s parade and carnival, and adults’ Dutty Mas; Monday features the adults’ parade and carnival. The event showcases mas bands, steel bands, Brazilian bands, soca and calypso, sound systems, live stages, and food and drink. The organisation also shares updates and information for community members and residents, and provides access to tickets and merchandise through its website.
