About Meadowlark Drive-Thru Dairy
Meadowlark Drive is a renowned brand that holds a rich history and tradition in the dairy industry. Established by Walter Briggs Sr. With a Grade A designation for exceptional cleanliness and quality, they have set a benchmark in the industry.
After World War II, Jannes and Janna Takens, immigrants from Holland, found their new home in Pleasanton. Eventually, they took over the dairy farm in 1958, purchasing it in the 1960s. In 1968, they relocated the cows to Tracy and built a state-of-the-art milk processing plant at 57 W.
Neal St. Continuing the family legacy, Bruce and Patti, Jannes and Janna's son and daughter-in-law, managed the business in the 1980s. Presently, the Dairy is helmed by Jesse and Kelsey, their son and daughter-in-law.
Meadowlark Drive offers an array of products, including clothing and accessories for men, women, and children, cold-weather apparel, groceries, and gift cards. Their drive-through service, dating back to July 1969, has been a hit with customers, ensuring convenience and satisfaction.
