About The Mercer Brand
Mercer, an Amsterdam-based high-end sneaker label, specializes in luxury handcrafted footwear and accessories for both men and women. Founded in 2013 by Pim Dresen, Mercer Amsterdam aims to create unique silhouettes with a sustainable touch. The brand prides itself on designing all products in-house, from sole to lace, using materials that are Global Recycled Standard certified, PETA certified VEGAN, Piñatex, and Leather-Working-Group certified.
Mercer gained recognition for its collaborations with NASA, Beverly Hills Hotel, UCLA, and Starter. It was also the first brand to partner with Piñatex to produce fully sustainable vegan sneakers made from pineapple leather. Furthermore, Mercer has innovated by creating footwear from Italian grapes, apples, and ocean-recovered plastic mesh in collaboration with Seaqual.
