About The Moko Foundation
The Moko Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust that aims to build a better Aotearoa-New Zealand through Health, Leadership, and Education. Established in 2011 by Dr. Lance O’Sullivan and Tracy MacFarlane, the foundation continues to make a positive impact on lives and communities nationwide.
Their diverse range of programmes includes leadership development for young people, providing access to exclusive networks of mentors and support. In 2020, the Moko Foundation welcomed iMoko Health Services, expanding their capacity to provide healthcare to thousands of children in communities.
Additionally, the foundation has partnered with Waharoa ki te Toi, a Kaitaia-based research center focused on improving health outcomes through the creation of new knowledge. This unique partnership with the Maurice Wilkins Centre, a New Zealand Center of Research Excellence, brings together top scientists and clinicians from leading universities.
The success of the Moko Foundation is attributed to the passion and dedication of their exceptional staff who go above and beyond to create meaningful change in Aotearoa. To learn more about their initiatives and meet the team, visit their website.
