The Nerd Cave

The Nerd Cave is a professional miniature painting service based in Frederiksværk, Denmark, offering commissioned work for tabletop gaming miniatures. Its projects include models from games such as Warhammer 40,000 and Deadzone, with examples ranging from a Necron Seraptek to an Asterian team. The painter shares progress and finished pieces through an online gallery and Instagram, showing detailed techniques such as edge highlighting, object-source lighting (OSL), assembly, pinning, and protective varnishing.

Commissions can involve both preparing and assembling models and creating a customized painted finish; the showcased Seraptek, for instance, was pinned, painted black with extensive OSL, assembled, and varnished for gaming. The Nerd Cave also provides workshops and paint guides for hobbyists who want to develop their miniature-painting skills. Visitors can explore the gallery, follow project updates, find workshop and guide information, or use the site’s contact section to make an inquiry.

With a practical focus on both visual detail and gaming readiness, The Nerd Cave serves miniature enthusiasts seeking professional painting or hands-on hobby guidance
