About Next System Project
The Next System Project, an initiative of The Democracy Collaborative, is dedicated to tackling the systemic challenges facing the United States today and in the future. With a focus on addressing economic inequality, racial injustice, and climate change, they advocate for systemic solutions that can lead to lasting change. By collaborating with researchers, theorists, and activists, they develop innovative visions and models for a "next system" that prioritizes superior social, economic, and ecological outcomes.
The Next System Project serves as a research and development lab for political-economic alternatives, working on comprehensive research, policy development, and targeted interventions in areas like energy democracy and public banking. Through their work, they aim to spark a substantive debate about the next system and how to bring it to fruition. Join their mission to build a new political economy for the United States in the twenty-first century
