As COVID-19, the flu, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) continue to spread, health officials are urging families to make a plan for vaccinations. The newly approved COVID-19 vaccines, formulated to target current variants, are now available. It is recommended that all children over 6 months old receive one dose of the updated vaccine, regardless of previous doses or infections.

You can easily access the vaccine through your primary care doctors or local pharmacies. Vaccine availability by age and location can be found at vaccines. gov.

Additionally, Wisconsin's Hayat Pharmacy, Walgreens, and CVS are offering vaccinations for children as young as 6 months. Ensuring your children are vaccinated not only protects them from serious infections associated with COVID-19 but also allows them to safely participate in school and social activities.
